Senior HR Business Partner

About the role

Biomerics, a manufacturer of medical devices and polymer solutions for the medical device and biotech industries, is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The role shapes and drives HR strategy aligned with business objectives, develops and manages HR KPIs, fosters company culture and leads key HR initiatives to improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor HR KPIs such as turnover, headcount and recruiting metrics, and lead culture-building through engagement strategies, recognition programs and social activities.
• Organize focus groups to gather employee insights and improve the employee experience.
• Design development plans including scholarship support programs, oversee performance management, run leadership training and coaching, and support succession planning.
• Work with Legal on employee relations, policy updates and compliance; manage investigations, promotion reviews, job changes and terminations in line with labor laws and company policies.
• Run internal HR communications, manage stakeholder relations and strengthen vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience in a medical device, manufacturing or regulated industry.
• Proven expertise in HR metrics and KPIs, employee engagement and talent management.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards.
• Experience in coaching, leadership development and performance management.
• Preferred: SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent certification; bilingual English and Spanish.
