Benefits Assistant

About the role

The Benefits Assistant provides administrative and operational support for the employee benefits function, ensuring accurate coordination and delivery of various company-sponsored programs.

Key responsibilities

• Administer day‑to‑day management of benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations and employee inquiries.
• Coordinate onsite medical clinic activities, employee communications, record maintenance and vendor support.
• Support life and medical insurance administration, beneficiary updates and related documentation.
• Serve as primary contact for benefit‑related questions and guide employees on eligibility.
• Manage the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Educational Reimbursement Program, handling applications, reimbursements and communications.
• Maintain accurate benefits records in HR systems and prepare reports, metrics and audit documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues and improve processes.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of benefits administration or related experience.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English (B2‑C1).
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Customer service and administrative support experience.
