Senior Golang / TypeScript Engineer

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Senior Golang / TypeScript Engineer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend services and AI‑powered platforms on AWS. The role is fully remote and requires a strong focus on scalability, security, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate secure, fault‑tolerant, and scalable backend systems and AI platforms on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create shared services, workflows, and integrations.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Take part in on‑call rotations, troubleshoot production incidents, and drive long‑term reliability improvements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software development experience, primarily backend and REST API design.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and hands‑on experience with Golang.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Deep knowledge of Domain‑Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, design patterns, and testing practices.
• 3+ years building applications on AWS using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).
• 3+ years with NoSQL or relational databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and secure coding practices.
• Proven ability to design scalable systems, mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and lead technical discussions.
