About the role
This senior finance leadership position partners with Technology & Digital Services (TDS) and Cybersecurity and Digital Risk Management (CDR) senior leaders to drive strategic decision‑making, financial planning and performance management. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role delivers actionable insights that enable balanced investment decisions and execution against global priorities while collaborating across business‑unit finance teams, regional finance organisations and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the lead finance business partner to TDS/CDR, supporting global functional leaders in planning, forecasting and managing operating and capital budgets.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision‑making and long‑term planning.
- Lead the development and delivery of key financial processes, including Annual Strategic Review, Annual Budget, forecasts, projections and capital‑expenditure planning.
- Drive end‑to‑end financial planning and analysis for the global function, tracking strategic initiatives, investments and special projects.
- Develop and support business cases and financial justifications for investment decisions.
- Oversee and enhance financial models and analytical tools for functional leadership, cost‑center owners and regional finance teams.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics such as headcount, vendor spend and regional financial performance.
- Partner with regional finance teams and COE analysts to ensure consistency, accuracy and alignment in reporting and planning.
- Support M&A activities, including financial evaluation and tracking of integration or separation‑related investments.
- Prepare presentations and ad‑hoc analysis for TDS/CDR leadership.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Tax and other partners to shape financial considerations, mitigate risk and optimise outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting and tools.
- Lead through influence, coaching and mentoring finance analysts and cross‑functional partners.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 8 + years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting or audit.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a global, matrixed organisation.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of SAP, BPC or similar financial systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
