Senior Finance Manager – Business Planning & Analysis (Global Functions)

About the role

PurposeBD is seeking a senior finance professional to act as the lead business partner for its global functional leaders. You will drive financial planning, analysis, and strategic insight across the TDS/CDR portfolio, supporting executive decision‑making and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with TDS/CDR leaders on planning, forecasting, and operating & capital budgets.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations for executive decisions.
• Lead annual strategic review, budgeting, forecasting, and capital‑expenditure planning processes.
• Drive end‑to‑end FP&A for the global function, tracking initiatives, investments, and special projects.
• Develop business cases and financial justifications for strategic investments.
• Maintain and enhance financial models and analytical tools for functional leadership.
• Monitor key performance metrics such as headcount, vendor spend, and regional financial performance.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams, COE analysts, and cross‑functional partners (procurement, legal, tax).
• Support M&A financial evaluation and integration tracking.
• Prepare presentations and ad‑hoc analysis for senior leadership.
• Lead, coach, and mentor finance analysts to build capability across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 + years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, or audit.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and financial‑modeling expertise.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑development experience.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of SAP, BPC, or similar financial systems.
• Financial modeling with large data sets.
