Senior Azure Architect – AI Solutions

About the role

3Pillar is seeking a Senior Azure Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade AI systems. You will shape the AI architecture vision, define engineering standards, and guide multi‑team programmes that leverage large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines, and model inference infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evangelise 3Pillar’s AI architecture vision, patterns and governance frameworks.
• Own end‑to‑end design, implementation and resolution of complex solutions on Azure cloud platforms.
• Architect and oversee delivery of LLM‑powered features, RAG pipelines, agentic frameworks and model inference services.
• Partner with stakeholders to capture functional and non‑functional requirements and translate them into technical roadmaps.
• Advise senior and executive leaders on AI strategy, technology investment, risk posture and competitive positioning.
• Continuously monitor AI landscape developments, emerging frameworks and regulatory changes, briefing leadership on strategic implications.
• Identify, assess and mitigate architectural risks, including vendor lock‑in, data privacy, and model drift.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with deep hands‑on experience in cloud‑native AI architecture.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive audiences.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale AI solutions in multi‑team environments.
