Android Developer – Native Mobile Apps

About the role

You will join Applaudo’s product team to design, build, and maintain high‑quality native Android applications. The role focuses on clean architecture, scalable code, and delivering intuitive user experiences while staying current with Android ecosystem trends.

Key responsibilities

• Develop native Android apps from scratch following best practices and coding standards.
• Define API requirements, consume RESTful, SOAP, or GraphQL services, and efficiently process responses.
• Create prototypes to showcase emerging Android technologies such as Jetpack Compose.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver features end‑to‑end.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to solve technical and product challenges.
• Adhere to UI/UX guidelines to ensure a polished user experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience developing native Android applications.
• Strong communication skills and advanced English proficiency for interaction with US‑based stakeholders.
