Senior AI Architect – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AI Architect to lead the design and development of production‑grade AI applications that address complex real‑world challenges at scale. The role combines AI architecture, software engineering, and cloud technologies to build intelligent systems from concept to deployment, working remotely across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect production‑grade AI applications and platforms.
• Build and evolve scalable retrieval and knowledge systems supporting AI‑powered experiences.
• Design and implement agent‑based and multi‑agent architectures for complex workflows.
• Develop backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud‑native infrastructure.
• Architect end‑to‑end solutions balancing performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Drive technical decisions on AI application design, orchestration, deployment, and integration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high‑quality solutions across the technology stack.
• Integrate AI solutions with internal and external platforms, services, and data sources.
• Contribute to engineering standards, architecture reviews, and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying AI‑powered applications in production environments.
• Strong experience with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and retrieval‑based systems.
• Experience designing and implementing agent‑based or multi‑agent systems for real‑world use cases.
• Deep understanding of information retrieval, semantic search, knowledge systems, and AI orchestration patterns.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and modern software development practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
