Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

About the role

The Senior Accounts Payable Clerk will ensure efficient processing of payables, travel & expense, and vendor transactions while supporting the migration of BPO functions to Auxis' Costa Rica Service Center.

Key responsibilities

• Review, code, and process invoices accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and execute payment batches (checks, wire transfers, electronic payments) and reconcile vendor statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, including accruals and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, IT, and the BPO Migration Team to design and implement improved processes.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior AP clerks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounts payable experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (B2+ oral and written).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting software.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
