Sea Logistics Sales Representative

About the role

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage sea freight import operations and ensure excellent customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle. You will act as a trusted advisor, building long‑term relationships and proposing value‑added logistics solutions that support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate sea freight import activities, monitoring shipments from origin to destination while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain long‑term customer relationships by understanding business needs and recommending logistics improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, carriers and external stakeholders to achieve operational efficiency and service excellence.
• Identify opportunities to enhance supply‑chain performance and drive customer retention through proactive communication and problem‑solving.
• Support commercial growth initiatives by spotting upsell opportunities and contributing to strategic account planning.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain or international trade.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end maritime logistics operations.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and develop long‑term business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High level of ownership, independence and results orientation.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B2) – written and spoken.
