Distribution Admin Assistant

About the role

The Distribution Admin Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring UPS Global Logistics Distribution meets its service delivery commitments through proactive monitoring, coordination, and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor service order activities across multiple order management systems.
• Maintain and update operational and performance reports, track inbound and outbound movements, and compare scheduled versus actual equipment utilization.
• Investigate and resolve overdue or delayed shipments, recording key logistics details such as departure times, destinations, cargo, and expected returns.
• Provide high‑quality customer support, act as the first point of escalation for customer‑related issues, and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Customs Administration, foreign trade or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or dispatch experience in transportation, distribution or order‑fulfillment environments.
• Experience working in multinational settings with hands‑on understanding of supply‑chain operations.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B2) and strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong numerical analysis and ability to execute corrective action plans.
