SAP Business Warehouse Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Warehouse Consultant to design, develop and support SAP BW, BPC and Integrated Planning solutions for our finance teams in Costa Rica. The ideal candidate has 6‑8 years of hands‑on experience with SAP BW on HANA/BW/4HANA and a solid understanding of financial planning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain SAP BW objects such as DataSources, Transformations, DTPs, InfoPackages, Process Chains, ADSOs, Composite Providers and Queries.
• Develop and support SAP BPC and Integrated Planning applications, including planning functions, sequences, FOX formulas and input‑ready planning models.
• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyse reporting and planning requirements.
• Perform performance tuning and optimisation of BW data models and process chains.
• Troubleshoot production issues, provide timely resolutions and support data extraction from SAP and non‑SAP source systems.
• Participate in testing, deployments, transport management and documentation activities.
• Work closely with Finance teams on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning needs.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of SAP BW development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW on HANA / BW/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) and SAP Integrated Planning.
• Functional understanding of finance processes such as budgeting, forecasting and profit & loss.
