Risk Mining Analyst II – Account Integrity

About the role

Amazon’s Account Integrity team is seeking a Risk Mining Analyst II to lead a core vertical of risk mining. The analyst will work with product managers, data scientists and engineers to detect fraudulent behavior, build data pipelines and develop rules that protect Amazon’s platform and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and improve data sets, pipelines and reporting to track key performance indicators for account integrity.
• Analyze large customer data sets to identify patterns of bad‑actor activity and translate them into attributes for automated rule deployment.
• Design alarm systems, dashboards and visualizations using SQL and BI tools to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to respond to high‑severity fraud events and support cross‑functional project execution.
• Develop and maintain risk‑detection rules, leveraging AI tools, IDEs and AWS services to automate workflows.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience handling complex data sets.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with rotating on‑call responsibilities.
