Regional Finance Manager – LATAM

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Regional Finance Manager to become the operational driving force and financial anchor for our Latin American business entities in Costa Rica, Ecuador and Colombia. Based in the San Ramón region, you will lead financial reporting, mentor the internal accountant, and ensure timely, aligned closing cycles across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and improve the financial reporting process for the Costa Rican entity.
• Mentor and support the local internal accountant.
• Coordinate and execute structured monthly and quarterly closing cycles for subsidiaries in Colombia and Ecuador.
• Manage schedules, streamline fragmented processes, and enforce strict group deadlines.
• Collaborate with external accounting firms in Colombia and Ecuador to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Corporate/Regional Finance Manager or Senior Controller.
• Strong background in financial statement analysis and budget variance evaluation (FP&A).
• Native Spanish speaker with fluent written and spoken English.
• Highly proactive, self‑motivated and results‑oriented.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data consolidation, multi‑currency aggregation and variance tracking.
• Power Query or similar data‑pipeline tools.
• Experience with ERP system rollouts.
• Knowledge of Costa Rican accounting standards, corporate tax framework and e‑reporting portals (ATV, Ministerio de Hacienda).
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
