Record-to-Report Subject Matter Expert

About the role

DHL Supply Chain is building a world‑class Accounting Hub in Heredia and seeks an experienced Record‑to‑Report (RTR) Subject Matter Expert to support its Finance transformation. The role will work closely with Country Operations, Finance, Controlling and Shared Services to ensure high‑quality delivery of accounting services in line with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile balance‑sheet and bank accounts periodically, preparing working papers and escalating issues as needed.
• Engage with Country Finance, Operations and Shared Services to complete accounting processes and internal controls.
• Validate and approve Capex purchase requisitions in line with Group policies.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships and cash‑management activities.
• Oversee IFRS 16 lease reporting and maintain lease contracts in the lease management system.
• Deliver all scoped processes according to KPIs and support performance‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CPI or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years experience in Record‑to‑Report accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with modern Finance/ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+).
