Accountant (Record to Report) – Heredia

About the role

DHL Express is hiring an Accountant to join its Heredia, Costa Rica team. You will work as an integral member of the Record to Report (R2R) function, supporting processes for the Americas while ensuring high‑quality data and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation, review and booking of accounting entries.
• Review and analysis of account balances, reconciliation of open items and resolution of imbalances.
• Processing of receivable and payable transactions and responding to country inquiries.
• Support audit request preparation and liaison with regional SSC and RtR teams.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting processes.
• Strong knowledge of Record to Report (R2R) processes and the full accounting cycle.
• Full professional proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).

Required skills

• SAP (practical experience preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
