R2R Team Lead

About the role

Join TE as a Record‑to‑Report (R2R) Team Lead and drive the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of core finance processes across multiple countries. You will ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in line with GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements while leading a diverse team of finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the R2R team, conducting regular meetings, performance reviews, and career development.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for all R2R topics, supporting migration of processes across regions.
• Oversee journal entry posting, intercompany processing, and period‑end close activities.
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting through HFM and ERP systems.
• Maintain and update financial master data, including chart of accounts and entity structures.
• Monitor and enforce SOX internal controls, escalating issues as needed.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and meet KPI/SLAs.
• Build strong relationships with global process owners and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years experience in a financial shared‑service center supporting multiple countries or business units.
• Deep understanding of end‑to‑end R2R processes and related technology platforms.
• Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in culturally diverse teams.
