Accountant II – General Accounting

At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. The Accountant II – General Accounting role provides timely and accurate record‑keeping and reporting for Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting including account reconciliations, journal entries, fixed‑asset processes, cash management, and reporting.
• Prepare and post accrual and corrective journal entries and produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports required by the region.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports generated through ERP systems, including master‑data updates.
• Support migration of R2R processes, preparing documentation such as process maps and work instructions.
• Execute treasury activities, cash and liquidity management, and period‑end close activities according to the calendar.
• Assist with the annual audit and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives within the R2R function.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years experience in a financial shared‑service centre supporting multiple countries.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems and R2R functions in a shared‑services environment.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in culturally diverse teams.
