Accountant III - General Accounting

About the role

The role monitors timely and accurate record‑keeping and reporting for Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes focused on the General Ledger, Treasury‑related activities, financial reporting, intercompany processing and fixed assets.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for R2R topics and mentor junior analysts.
• Support migration of R2R processes across multiple countries.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, including process maps and work instructions.
• Perform general ledger accounting, accounts reconciliations, journal entries, fixed‑asset processing and cash‑management activities.
• Execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities according to the established calendar.
• Produce financial reporting packages (monthly, quarterly, annual) in compliance with US GAAP and local accounting regulations.
• Liaise with auditors and tax advisors, providing required information and responses.
• Identify and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives within the R2R function.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in a financial shared‑service centre supporting multiple country business units.
• Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Excellent analytical abilities and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in diversified industrial products/manufacturing environment is preferred.
