Python Software Developer – Backend & API Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Python Software Developer to design, build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The role involves working with modern frameworks and cloud environments to deliver high‑performance solutions for our products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Implement solutions with Django, Flask, and FastAPI frameworks.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and optionally MongoDB.
• Contribute to system design, architecture, performance optimization, and code quality.
• Develop and integrate event‑driven and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Apply best practices including SOLID principles, design patterns, testing, and clean code.
• Support cloud‑based applications and production environments, primarily on AWS.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience developing backend applications with Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Django, Flask and/or FastAPI.
• Proficiency in designing REST APIs and microservice architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL and/or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Advanced English proficiency for communication in an international environment.
