Project Manager Data & AI Delivery

About the role

As a Project Manager specializing in Data & AI delivery, you will be the primary liaison between client stakeholders and the delivery team, driving modern data platform engagements from inception to measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted main point of contact for client stakeholders, building transparent, long‑term partnerships and setting clear expectations.
• Continuously monitor scope, schedule, budget, quality and team health, identifying and mitigating risks early.
• Align every roadmap, milestone and deliverable with client objectives, measuring outcomes and demonstrating ROI.
• Manage project economics, including budgets, resource allocation and margins, and control scope changes through documented change orders.
• Identify growth opportunities by expanding relationships across client departments and connecting needs to broader Hakkoda and IBM capabilities.
• Lead and develop data engineers, analysts and architects, fostering accountability while shielding the team from distractions.
• Make decisive decisions with incomplete information, challenging unrealistic expectations and balancing client priorities with delivery capacity.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (preferred) and proven engagement management experience in client‑facing consulting.
• Demonstrated ability to apply Agile and hybrid project methodologies, manage budgets and deliver profitable outcomes.
• Executive‑level communication skills and fluency in English.

Required skills

• Agile and hybrid project management methods.
• PMP, PMI‑ACP, SAFe or Snowflake/cloud certifications.
• Experience with Snowflake or Databricks, data pipelines, Medallion Architecture and BI tools.
• Data migration expertise from legacy warehouses to cloud platforms.
• Proven delivery of data engineering, analytics or cloud data platform projects.
