Project Manager, Medical Device Contract Manufacturing

About the role

Cadence is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross‑functional planning and execution of New Product Introductions (NPI) and product transfers within its medical device contract manufacturing sites. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and ready for sustained production while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end NPI and transfer programs from scope definition through production ramp‑up and stabilization.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk registers.
• Coordinate deliverables across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Drive manufacturing readiness, including equipment, tooling, staffing, training, documentation, and capacity planning.
• Support process validation, pilot builds, and ramp plans, ensuring stable handoff to operations.
• Assist Cost Estimation team by analyzing manufacturing costs, identifying cost risks, and updating cost models.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing NPI or product transfer projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage project risks and dependencies.
• Experience with cost estimation and analysis of manufacturing expenses.
