Patient Registration Clerk – Bilingual English/Spanish

About the role

The Registration Clerk supports the front‑office of a healthcare facility by ensuring patients are accurately pre‑registered and their insurance information verified before appointments. This bilingual role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate multiple administrative systems.

Key responsibilities

• Complete patient pre‑registration and verify insurance eligibility prior to scheduled services.
• Update patient demographic and insurance data in internal systems.
• Contact patients to confirm details, explain coverage, and arrange payments when needed.
• Coordinate with hospitals, physicians, and insurers to resolve authorization and coverage issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Research patient account information and support timely resolution of registration and insurance‑related requests.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, healthcare, patient registration, insurance verification, or a related administrative role.
• English–Spanish proficiency at B2 level (written & spoken).
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
