Molding Excellence Program Engineer

About the role

Join Freudenberg Medical as a Molding Excellence Program Engineer and drive the implementation of the T.I.M.E.™ (Thermoplastic Injection Molding Excellence) methodology. You will work on high‑quality medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring robust, repeatable injection molding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and adoption of the T.I.M.E.™ methodology at the site.
• Standardize practices across process development, validation, monitoring, control, and sustainment.
• Develop robust injection molding processes using scientific molding principles.
• Guide validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Apply DOE, process characterization, and operating window definition.
• Provide troubleshooting support to Engineering and Operations to resolve process variation.
• Analyze process and metrology data, drive corrective actions, and reduce scrap and non‑conforming product.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams on DFM and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver training and coaching on T.I.M.E.™ methodology and scientific molding principles.
• Maintain required documentation, standards, and records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (Materials Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in injection molding process engineering.
• Master Molder® II certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
