Manufacturing Trainer I – Production Training

About the role

The Manufacturing Trainer I will lead the training program for production operators, ensuring that training methods are applied correctly to meet product quality, yield, and delivery targets. You will work closely with the operations team to develop tools, assess trainee performance, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute training plans aligned with the operation’s learning curve.
• Develop and deploy tools such as checklists, learning curves, and MSA methodologies.
• Monitor safety conditions and report findings.
• Follow trainee progress through certification and practical assessments.
• Maintain training resources, track key metrics, and support Kaizen events.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and propose innovative training ideas.
• Coach other trainers and assist with hiring, onboarding, and dexterity testing.
• Support change documentation and production flexibility processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing training environment.
• Strong commitment to internal and external customers.
• High patience, emotional intelligence, and attention to detail.
• Effective adult‑learning techniques and ability to simplify complex topics.
• Clear, assertive communication and teamwork orientation.
