Loan Servicing Specialist – Private Real Estate Lending

About the role

The company, a U.S.-based private real estate lender, seeks an experienced Loan Servicing Specialist to manage post‑closing servicing workflows for short‑term business‑purpose loans. You will board funded loans, handle construction draws, monitor maturities, and provide borrower and partner support.

Key responsibilities

• Board funded loans with a third‑party servicer, validate terms, balances, reserves and maturity dates, and maintain accurate records.
• Manage construction draw requests end‑to‑end, including budget checks, inspections, documentation, and approvals within delegated limits.
• Monitor upcoming maturities, coordinate extensions and payoffs, and ensure calculations are accurate.
• Identify inactive or stalled loans, track missed payments, and escalate potential defaults.
• Answer borrower, note buyer and warehouse lender inquiries and own each issue until resolved.

Required profile

• At least 1.5 years of hands‑on experience at a U.S. hard‑money or private real‑estate lender servicing business‑purpose loans.
• Direct experience with construction draw management, payoffs and extensions.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Gmail.
• Experience using GoHighLevel or a similar CRM.
• Ability to navigate an online loan portal for documents, files and workflow management.
