Lead Product Designer – Remote (Costa Rica)

About the role

Very is looking for a Lead Product Designer to own the full design arc—from ambiguous client problems to shipped products. This senior position works remotely with top‑tier brands, guiding discovery, strategy, and execution while collaborating closely with engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Partner directly with clients from early discovery through launch, translating vague briefs into concrete product solutions.
• Run discovery workshops, alignment sessions, and user feedback loops.
• Own UX and UI design, interactive prototyping, research, data visualization, and design‑system contributions.
• Collaborate with engineering throughout development and ensure rigorous design QA on shipped features.
• Integrate AI tools into the workflow where they add value, while maintaining human judgment.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional product design experience.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and delivering outcomes over artifacts.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements and facilitate cross‑functional workshops.
• Experience incorporating AI‑assisted design processes.
