Intelligent Automation Engineer

About the role

Coforge is hiring an Intelligent Automation Engineer to design, build and maintain automation solutions that combine UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate and AI-driven approaches. The position is remote and based in Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation solutions with UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate.
• Build intelligent automation workflows using Agentic AI concepts and frameworks.
• Develop automation scripts and reusable components in Python, PowerShell or similar.
• Integrate AI/ML models into automation via UiPath AI Center, Microsoft AI capabilities or related platforms.
• Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency and scalability.
• Gather, document and validate requirements with business stakeholders and internal clients.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Test, debug, monitor and optimize workflows, and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience with UiPath and/or Microsoft Power Automate.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI or AI-driven automation.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives.

Required skills

• UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate; UiPath AI Center and Power Platform AI (AI Builder, Copilot Studio, Azure AI).
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell or similar.
• Preferred: Azure AI Foundry, CI/CD pipelines, APIs and microservices, and UiPath, Power Platform or Azure certifications.
