About the role
Join a dedicated team focused on supporting the educational needs of students in the Extended Learning Department. As an Instructional Assistant Provider, you will help create an engaging and supportive learning environment that enhances student growth.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers and program staff in delivering extended learning activities.
- Provide one‑on‑one or small‑group tutoring and academic support.
- Help prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom resources.
- Monitor student progress and report observations to supervisors.
- Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent (official transcript required).
- Minimum of 48 college units or successful completion of the district’s proficiency test.
- Concurrent enrollment in college courses (recent graduate may be considered).
- Prior experience working with students or tutoring preferred.
- Copy of college transcript (official or unofficial) and proof of high school graduation.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
