Inside Sales Representative

About the role

Join 3M’s Transportation and Energy Business Group as an Inside Sales Representative, driving growth through telephone‑based B2B sales. You will work closely with global 3M teams to develop relationships with end‑users, answer inbound inquiries, and strategically upsell and cross‑sell products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with end‑users representing the TEBG product portfolio.
• Conduct outbound and inbound telephone sales, handling customer questions and warm leads.
• Meet monthly sales targets through forecasting, customer interactions, and data analysis.
• Analyze market trends, competition, and customer data to identify opportunities.
• Maintain and update a sales plan with strategies to achieve annual forecasts.
• Drive campaigns created by division marketers and introduce new products.
• Collaborate with industrial distribution partners to expand the account base.
• Share best practices within the team to foster a positive environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or associate degree, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year combined sales and/or customer‑service experience.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Strong active‑listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume, rapidly changing, team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• CRM experience / pipeline management.
