Director of Segment & Channel Growth – Latin America

About the role

The Director, Segment and Channel Growth will shape strategy and performance for Eaton’s Protection, Control & Solutions business across Latin America, overseeing a $590M portfolio that includes Industrial, Data Center, Utilities, C&I/Residential, and Channel Partners. Reporting to the VP/GM LATAM PCS, the role leads five regional leaders and partners with Marketing, Portfolio, Commercial Excellence, Operations and Finance to accelerate growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the customer, market, application and ecosystem perspective for assigned segments across Latin America.
• Define segment‑specific priorities, value pools and growth opportunities and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
• Partner with Marketing and Strategy & Growth to shape where‑to‑play and how‑to‑win choices.
• Build relationships with strategic customers, associations, ecosystem partners and influencers to deepen insight and validate priorities.
• Monitor segment performance, market share and initiative progress; recommend corrective actions.
• Contribute segment expertise to strategic planning, forecasting and growth roadmaps.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive experience in segment management, business development, marketing, commercial strategy or general management.
• Proven ability to translate customer and market insights into segment priorities and growth opportunities across multiple countries.
• Experience aligning marketing, portfolio and commercial stakeholders in complex matrix organizations.
• Latin America regional experience strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of customer segments, applications, ecosystems, buying criteria and competitive dynamics.
• Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese; proficiency in all three languages is a strong plus.
• Undergraduate degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
