About the role
Solventum is seeking an Inpatient Facilities Collections Specialist I to join its finance team. The role focuses on managing collections for inpatient facility accounts, ensuring timely payments and supporting the company’s mission to improve healthcare outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage collections activities for an assigned portfolio of inpatient facilities.
- Conduct account research, reconciliation, and dispute resolution to ensure timely payment.
- Contact customers regarding delinquent balances, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain compliance with agreed terms.
- Monitor account aging, prioritize high‑risk delinquent accounts, and apply effective collection strategies to reduce outstanding balances.
Required profile
- Experience in collections or accounts receivable, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities to engage with customers.
- Analytical skills to assess account data and resolve disputes.
