About the role

The Project Engineer will support Cargill's Food division by planning, supervising and coordinating construction projects that deliver essential food‑industry ingredients. The role ensures projects meet safety, regulatory and budgetary targets while driving business value.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the strategic vision for project teams and embed best‑practice project management to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with multifunctional professionals to plan, schedule and execute projects efficiently.
• Proactively monitor project progress, key metrics and risk indicators to improve performance.
• Work with business stakeholders to align project outcomes with corporate value and benefits.
• Resolve medium‑complexity issues independently and escalate higher‑complexity challenges to supervisors or project leadership.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools.
• Conversational and written English.
