HR Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to lead the implementation and ongoing administration of Rippling for a U.S.-based, multi‑location business. This fully remote position supports both full‑time and part‑time employees across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the setup and configuration of Rippling, including entities, locations, employee data imports, job codes, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and state tax IDs.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, prepare offer letters and employment agreements, and maintain accurate employee records.
• Configure and maintain multi‑state HR policies (PTO, sick leave, overtime, breaks) and ensure employee acknowledgments in Rippling.
• Implement and oversee time‑tracking and timecard approval workflows, integrating them with payroll.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR and payroll support to employees and managers, and coordinate with internal stakeholders on operational issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of HR Operations experience supporting U.S. employees.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and managing Rippling in a multi‑location environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong attention to detail and independent execution.

Required skills

• Rippling HRIS platform implementation and administration.
• Payroll and benefits coordination for full‑time and part‑time staff.
• Multi‑state HR policy configuration and compliance.
• Time‑tracking system setup and payroll integration.
