HR Assistant – Social Media & Employee Engagement

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team in Costa Rica. The role combines traditional HR administration with the management of our social media presence, ensuring brand alignment and a vibrant workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records, both physical and digital, in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Assist with audits, legal compliance, and respond to internal and external inquiries.
• Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, events, and celebrations.
• Manage office supplies, create purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors following procurement procedures.
• Partner with the Global Corporate Communications team to oversee Costa Rica’s social media channels, including content planning, basic graphic design, and event photography.
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, quality management processes, and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an HR or administrative role.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (B2 certification).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator (or similar design tools).
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat.
