Group Manager - Procurement Services

About the role

The Sr. Associate, Strategic Sourcing and Category Management (Marketing) will support a client‑dedicated procurement service delivery team, developing marketing category strategies, executing sourcing processes, and managing supplier relationships to drive cost savings while maintaining quality and service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing medium to long‑term strategies for various marketing sub‑categories such as agency negotiations, media planning, advertising, and point‑of‑sale materials.
• Execute strategic sourcing processes, including building cost models, launching RFIs/RFPs, evaluating bids, and leading negotiations.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support category managers in supplier relationship management and act as escalation point for source‑to‑contract issues.
• Lead and develop team members, setting objectives, providing training, and overseeing performance where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of experience in contracts, negotiations, procurement or sourcing.
• At least 3 years of marketing procurement experience, preferably within a BPO or customer service environment.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities, with experience interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering year‑over‑year cost savings while meeting quality and service requirements.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of marketing sub‑categories (agency negotiations, media planning, advertising, POS materials).
• Expertise in strategic sourcing methods and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
