About the role
A General Ledger Senior Accountant is needed for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role contributes to the team's goals and objectives, helps complete critical deliverables, and uses clear communication to explain difficult issues and build consensus between teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience in shared service centers
- Understanding of managing multi-national accounting operations
- English proficiency (verbal and written)
- Nice to have: Master's degree, relevant pharmaceutical experience, CPA or international equivalent, advanced Portuguese, and advanced SAP & FCCS experience
Required skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in US GAAP
- MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload and adapt to changing priorities
- Client engagement and customer relationship management skills
