Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

The Financial Reporting Manager will lead financial reporting, budgeting, audit coordination and analysis for a global nonprofit with a $15 million budget. This role ensures accurate, transparent financial information to support strategic decisions across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and own monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, including revenue recognition and net asset reporting.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning and monitor budget performance to identify risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate external audit activities, maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 958) and ensure audit readiness.
• Evaluate and strengthen internal controls, drive process automation and participate in finance transformation initiatives.
• Partner with regional finance teams, review local statements and assist with global consolidation and payroll support.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, FP&A, audit or controllership within multinational, multi‑entity environments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 958 for nonprofit accounting, grants and contributions.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, financial modeling).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite.
