Financial Analyst – Global Finance Solutions

About the role

Amazon's Global Finance Solutions (GFS) team is seeking a proactive Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, helping the business make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly P&L analysis, financial forecasts and support financial reporting.
• Develop and report on financial and operational performance metrics.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly close activities in coordination with business and accounting teams.
• Measure and report progress on key business goals and provide inputs for business reviews.
• Facilitate business reviews, analyze data, and follow up on actionable items with leaders.
• Conduct ad‑hoc business analyses, build financial models, and present recommendations to senior management.
• Apply accounting principles and internal controls, drive process improvements, and ensure team objectives are met.

Required profile

• 4+ years of finance experience, preferably in corporate finance.
• Proven ability to use data to influence business decisions.
• Experience with budgeting, planning, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and effective communication.
