Financial Analyst – Business Planning & Analysis (GBS)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join our OPEX team within the Global Business Services (GBS) function. The role will support Finance Business Partners and BP&A leadership with planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for assigned business units.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end GBS operating expense management process.
• Lead planning, forecasting and budgeting activities for headcount and non‑labor costs.
• Collaborate with functional finance teams to ensure alignment of financial plans.
• Maintain financial planning models, develop forecasts, trends and performance commentary.
• Generate standard and ad‑hoc reports using globally standardized tools.
• Prepare monthly journal entries, including intercompany charge‑outs.
• Track and analyse actual performance versus plan and provide insights for management decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years of finance experience focused on planning, budgeting, month‑end close and reporting.
• Experience in a large, global, multi‑segment organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify root causes of variances.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros).
• Familiarity with SAP ERP.
• Experience with Workday HR system.
• Knowledge of BPC (Budget, Planning, Consolidations).
• Exposure to Power BI for data visualisation.
