About the role
The Threat Intelligence Specialist will manage, develop and operate threat intelligence capabilities to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of the organization. The role involves identifying, analyzing and contextualizing relevant threats to support detection, prevention, response and containment activities.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and define threat‑intelligence requirements through threat modeling aligned with the organization’s technology and operations.
- Collect, analyze and contextualize threat information to enhance detection, prevention and response capabilities.
- Generate intelligence that supports detection, response and containment of targeted or persistent threats.
- Analyze financial‑sector trends and the global threat landscape to spot attacker groups, tactics, techniques and procedures.
- Develop and maintain profiles of relevant threat actors, documenting actionable information.
- Conduct advanced persistent threat analysis, providing technical and strategic context to relevant teams.
- Create, manage and maintain indicators of compromise in interchangeable formats for security teams.
- Enrich and maintain the threat‑intelligence platform ensuring data is relevant, up‑to‑date and actionable.
- Produce strategic, tactical and operational intelligence reports tailored to technical or managerial audiences.
- Provide intelligence inputs to support defensive, preventive and risk‑mitigation decisions.
- Recommend mitigation actions in coordination with Service Owners and Incident Managers.
- Support incident response by supplying context on attack vectors, related actors and adversary behavior.
- Coordinate with sector CERTs, intelligence bodies, specialized communities and external sources to exchange relevant threat information.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Security, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on threat analysis.
- Desirable certifications such as GCTI, GCIA, CySA+ or equivalent threat‑intelligence credentials.
- Experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering.
- Experience working with Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP) and threat‑intelligence feeds.
