eRetail Media Manager

About the role

Pod​ean, a leading marketplace agency, is seeking an experienced eRetail Media Manager to own media strategy and execution on both Amazon and Walmart platforms. This split‑focus role requires hands‑on campaign management, client interaction, and cross‑platform growth planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day campaigns on Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect, executing strategy rather than only documenting it.
• Design and implement media strategies that align with each platform’s auction mechanics, shopper behavior, and ad inventory.
• Serve as the primary client contact for Amazon and Walmart media, translating performance data into clear recommendations.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities across new ad formats, targeting capabilities, and organic‑paid synergies.
• Oversee analysts, providing coaching that builds their skills and ensures high‑quality work.
• Develop test plans, strategic roadmaps, and risk/benefit analyses, then close the loop with results and next steps.
• Apply data analysis and structured problem‑solving to improve performance simultaneously on both platforms.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience managing Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect campaigns.
• Fluency with platform‑native tools and third‑party software such as Pacvue, Skai, Teikametrics, Perpetua, or similar.
• Strong data skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and the ability to extract insights from complex performance reports; Excel macros a plus.
• Experience managing and developing people, not just performing tasks alone.
• Clear, confident communication with clients and internal teams.
• Comfortable in a fast‑moving environment where platform policies evolve frequently.
