Engineering Consultant II – Manufacturing – Medical Device

About the role

Engineering Consultant II will support the Quality Engineering team in manufacturing process remediation for medical device product lines. The role involves analyzing inputs, executing remediation tasks, and ensuring successful knowledge transfer to the client.

Key responsibilities

• Understand inputs to determine remediation activities for impacted product lines from a manufacturing perspective.
• Execute remediation tasks, including updating QMS procedures and conducting process validations in collaboration with Quality Engineering.
• Prepare and maintain a project tracker with weekly updates for management review.
• Transfer knowledge to the client during and after project completion.
• Perform additional tasks as agreed with project liaisons.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced computer skills, including MS Office applications.
• Proficiency with Minitab for statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with electronic management documentation.
• Native Spanish speaker and fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Required skills

• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
• Minitab statistical analysis.
• SolidWorks, ProE or Inventor (desirable).
