DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a U.S. client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers to design, implement, and maintain both cloud and on‑premise infrastructure for large‑scale applications.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters across Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Design, build, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Manage physical data‑center resources, including OpenStack, QEMU or Hyper‑V virtualisation.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions (Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Ensure security hardening, integrate SIEM tools and vulnerability scanners into pipelines.
• Support database and distributed storage systems such as PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse, Ceph, NFS and S3.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery planning and automated backup strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four‑year college education.
• Proven track record of working on large, complex systems in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.
