Data Reporting Analyst III

About the role

This individual contributor supports data-informed decisions by gathering data systematically, preparing it for analysis and building automated business and reporting solutions. The role also supports the interpretation of data analysis and works with clients to define their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Gather data by validating sources, querying, merging and extracting data, refreshing data and building electronic data collection tools, with user training and documentation.
• Prepare data for analysis by consolidating it, checking quality and accuracy, profiling inaccuracies and cleaning it into final datasets.
• Develop, implement and automate reporting solutions, create summary statistics, organize BI reports and visualizations, and document them.
• Support data analysis interpretation and help clients define needs, develop outcome and process measures, build analysis plans and train end users.
• Work with colleagues and customers, give occasional mentoring, seek performance feedback and escalate issues or risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, social/physical/life sciences, business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in data analytics or a directly related field.
• Strong communication skills and solid understanding of database foundations, including relational and multidimensional design.

• SAS programming and ETL processes
• SQL for querying and data manipulation
• DAX and Power BI data models
• Preferred: Informatica PowerCenter/IICS, Linux, Python, Shell scripts, Jira and Agile, Oracle PL/SQL, Databricks, Epic Clarity
