Cost Manager – Manufacturing Finance Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Cost Manager to lead manufacturing finance services at strategic plant sites. Reporting to the Manufacturing Delivery Lead, you will act as the primary finance partner, ensuring accurate cost accounting, budgeting and financial reporting to support operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute timely, accurate and compliant financial activities for assigned manufacturing sites.
• Manage month‑end close, site‑level financial reporting and year‑end close activities.
• Provide quarterly forecasts and annual budget inputs.
• Lead annual product costing updates and new product costing (BOM, routing, overhead rates, standard cost builds).
• Perform balance‑sheet account analysis, reconciliations and support fixed‑asset accounting and capital project tracking.
• Partner with plant leadership to explain financial results, drivers and variances.
• Translate standard finance processes into actionable guidance for plant stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate site‑level issues, risks or inefficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of cost accounting, manufacturing operations or process optimisation experience.
• B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced English proficiency for interaction with U.S. market and clients.
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen and ability to work cross‑functionally.
