Coordinator, Communications & Network

About the role

Baxter is looking for a Coordinator, Communications & Network in Cartago. You will lead and execute internal communication strategies that strengthen employee engagement, culture and organizational alignment across several manufacturing sites, acting as a trusted partner to leaders and stakeholders so that key business messages are clear, consistent and effective.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run communication strategies that align employees with business priorities across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Create content such as articles, videos, presentations, newsletters, digital communications and storytelling campaigns.
• Manage and optimize internal communication channels so updates and messages are timely, accurate and engaging.
• Partner with leaders, Human Resources, Information Technology and site stakeholders to improve communication effectiveness.
• Lead employee recognition, appreciation, inclusion and culture-building initiatives.
• Measure effectiveness with engagement metrics, feedback and reporting tools, and coordinate events, executive visits, town halls, employee programs and community activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, internal communications, employee engagement or a related discipline.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Preferred: experience in manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences or regulated environments; experience building employee engagement, recognition, culture or inclusion initiatives; experience using communication metrics to drive improvement.
