Contracts Manager – Commercial Contracts (Remote, Costa Rica)

About the role

We are looking for a Contracts Manager to lead commercial contract activities for a global technology client. This remote, six‑month position (with possible extension) will support sales, finance, procurement, privacy, and security teams in drafting, negotiating, and managing a high volume of agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage legal intake and contract requests from sales and business units.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and coordinate NDAs, order forms, amendments, MSAs, SaaS agreements, SOWs, and RFP responses.
• Conduct contract triage, issue spotting, and risk assessments using established playbooks.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely approvals.
• Support contract administration, tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement of templates and workflows.
• Assist with commercial legal projects, policy implementation, and contract remediation initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in contract management, commercial contracting, or a legal environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of contract law principles, commercial terms, and risk mitigation.
• Self‑starter able to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.

Required skills

• Experience with commercial agreements such as MSAs, SaaS contracts, SOWs, NDAs, amendments, and RFPs.
• Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
• Proficiency in SharePoint and DocuSign.
