Senior Manager, Investigations Operations

About the role

The Senior Manager, Investigations Operations leads and coordinates investigation functions across World Vision’s global partnership, ensuring high‑quality, consistent investigations that protect the organization’s reputation and mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain streamlined investigation tools, protocols, and operational guidelines for all internal investigators.
• Provide matrix leadership to seven Regional Investigative Specialists, overseeing triage, assignment, monitoring and reporting of incidents.
• Design and execute a capacity‑building strategy, training full‑ and part‑time investigators and creating a centre of excellence for investigations.
• Manage the Workplace Investigations Training Programme (WITP) and Knowledge Check enrolments in English, Spanish and French.
• Maintain the Investigations Dashboard, SharePoint site and ensure accurate, up‑to‑date information sharing.
• Engage senior leaders and cross‑functional teams (Cybersecurity, Fleet, VFI, Legal, etc.) to align investigative approaches and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher education.
• Professional certification in fraud or workplace investigations.
• 8‑10 years’ experience leading internal workplace investigations in a large international NGO.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships in a dispersed, virtual environment.
• Experience developing and delivering investigator training programmes.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for a broad international audience.
• Strategic thinking to identify efficiencies and simplify investigative processes.
