Contracts Manager – Commercial Contracts (Remote, Costa Rica)

About the role

We are looking for a Contracts Manager to lead commercial contract activities for a global technology company. This fully remote position, based in Costa Rica, supports sales and business teams by managing the full contract lifecycle for a variety of agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and triage legal intake and contract requests from sales, finance, procurement, privacy, and security stakeholders.
• Review, draft, negotiate, and finalize NDAs, order forms, amendments, MSAs, SaaS agreements, SOWs, and other commercial documents.
• Apply established playbooks, conduct issue spotting, assess risk, and follow escalation protocols.
• Maintain contract administration processes, including approvals, tracking, and reporting.
• Improve templates, workflows, guidance documents, and self‑service tools.
• Support commercial legal projects, policy implementation, and contract remediation initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in contract management, commercial contracting, or a legal environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, legal studies, paralegal studies, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of contract law principles, commercial terms, and risk mitigation.
• Self‑starter able to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.

Required skills

• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
• Proficiency in SharePoint.
• Proficiency in DocuSign.
